We offer free English classes for adult learners in the Omaha area. Whether you're just starting or want to improve your advanced skills, our welcoming environment is here to help you grow. Everyone is welcome—no paperwork, no cost, no barriers.
About
Class Information
We offer 6 levels of English class from beginner to advanced English. Our classes run from August to May, with breaks for holidays. Each semester is 16 weeks of instruction. Our program has open registration - new students can join at any point during the semester.
Evening Classes
When: August 19, 2025 - May 5, 2026; Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 PM
Who: Open to all adults (ages 18+)

Free childcare available for ages 0 - 5th grade
Daytime Classes
When: August 21, 2025 - May 7, 2026; Thursdays 9:15-11:15 AM
Who: Women only

Free childcare available - limited spots
Summer Classes
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30-8:30 PM; June 17 - July 17, 2025
Who: All Adults
Childcare available Tuesday nights only
What to Expect

On your first evening of class:
You'll receive a short placement interview in speaking and reading (this takes about half the class).
After the interview, you’ll join a class and begin participating.
Books are given on your second or third class night.

Any adult aged 18–100 is welcome. We do not require identification, documentation, or payment. You belong here.

Yes! Classes and materials are completely free. New students receive a textbook during their second or third class.

We may be able to provide transportation for groups of two or more. Rides are limited and priority is given to students who plan to attend regularly.

Yes! Free childcare is available during both class times:
Tuesday evenings: No limit on capacity. Available for children from birth through 5th grade.
Thursday mornings (Women’s class only): Limited spots available. Childcare is offered for ages 0–6.
Please note: Space on Thursday mornings may fill up. If that happens, a waiting list is maintained.
